The Heart of a Conquerer

The pain and hardships involved with living, I won't call it a necessity. But without it, life would not be so grand. For how can you know true happiness without experiencing pain first?
"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives everything its value."

- Thomas Paine

To conquer the seas, one must learn how to overcome the worst of storms!

The only way you'll truly learn and understand it is through firsthand experience. Again and again you must endure, learn, and overcome. Again and again - you must fight! Fight for your dreams, your ambitions, and your pride. Until that one day that you tame and master the wind and ride gallantly through the storms, until that one day when the treasure you've been searching for is in your hands, you must keep moving forward!

Ships that can't be broken are sturdy. But, there are also ships that have been damaged that are just as strong. Pain will break you. That's just how it is. But, if you choose to repair and rebuild your ship again, if you choose to keep moving forward, your strength equals that of the unbroken.

You're not alone, you know. Even if you feel alone, know that no one is ever born destined to be so. There will always be people willing to help you, to stand by you, to fight alongside you, and to believe in you. A ship never has a one-man crew! It's okay to rely on others. There's no need to endure the pain all on your own. That's why we have friends; it's to share our feelings - whether pain or happiness.

There is nothing stronger now, during the storm, than persistence and hope. To overcome adversity, all you truly need is perseverance and the will to keep improving no matter what. Endure! Press onward! That is what you must do! Have faith in yourself. You possess all that you need to succeed.

Now, what will you choose: accept the challenge or accept defeat?
